dævron (they/them) is a visual artist, technology tinkerbell and cyber sorceress exploring themes of spatial semiotics, queerness and liminal form. Their work focuses on both printed media and interactive design that combines hardware and software, video and sound, for movement-based performances and installations.

 

A graduate of the Gray Area creative coding program and artist-in-residence at CounterPulse, dævron has produced new media, experimental animation and immersive digital experiences for projects in Toronto, New York and San Francisco with support from the California Arts Council, National Film Board, San Francisco Arts Commission and Peace Point Entertainment.

 

Their recent works have been exhibited at Rock Paper Scissors Gallery, SOMarts, Elemental Gallery, ODC Theater, Bayview Opera House, Strut Gallery, Buriel Clay Theater, San Francisco LGBT Center, Wendell Works, Dance Mission Theater and Compound Gallery.
